Just like every martial artist has their own unique style, every martial arts promotion I’ve attended has its own unique vibe. Whether an event is clean, bright, and professional, moody and dramatic, streamlined or chaotic, laid-back or more traditional, I love to see it reflected in the photographs. What never changes, though, is my goal as event or team photographer to capture as much action as possible, in addition to detail shots and behind the scenes coverage.
