I’ve always had a passion for creating meaningful photos of the people and experiences in my life. What started as a hobby has matured, over years, into a skill that has brought joy to many and a sense of personal fulfillment to myself. I’ve had the opportunity to make photographs in many countries and a variety of scenarios, from medieval castles to martial arts tournaments.

With a purple belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and experience competing in kickboxing, mixed martial arts, and grappling, I have a trained eye for combat sports that reflects in my action-packed fight photography. I have covered a variety of PNW martial arts events over many years and am the official photographer for War Kickboxing and AX Fighting Championship.

More often behind the lens than in front of it, I understand and sympathize with those who are camera-shy or just generally uncomfortable being in the spotlight. I have found that an upbeat, unrushed approach to photography can help put even the shyest people at ease and make a photo shoot an enjoyable experience.
